ANGELA


Angie has been riding since 2000 and is originally from Montreal and is married.  She has 2 cats, 5 dogs, 9 horses and 1 goat named George. She loves the idea of getting like-minded gals together for rides, laughter, and being able to do a little good along the way. Her best ride to-date was taking a month to ride to the Maritimes and back with her pal Nurse Betty.

CHERYL


Cheryl loves to travel. She has been riding since 2001, and rides because there's something magical about being on a bike. She's involved in the Spokes Sisters group because she wants to participate in raising money for good causes and raise awareness for women riding motorcycles.

ELSIE


Elsie is a single mother of two wonderful young men. She has been riding since 1986, and has also taught motorcycle riding classes. Elsie enjoys any outdoor and team activities, as well as helping out with good charities.

LINDA


Linda is a wife, mother and grandmother. She has been riding since 1994, and works as an Executive Assistant. Linda lost an aunt and a 19-year old friend due to breast cancer and in June/05 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has recovered from surgery and ready to keep riding.

THERESA


Theresa began riding in 2001 and has been a “Westerner” since 1980.  As with so many people, she has had friends who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.  She rides, so that in some small way, she can help in finding a cure.

ROBERTA

Roberta has been riding for 19 years and enjoys the feeling of freedom and speed on a bike. She joined SpokesSisters to meet new people, have fun riding and do something worthwhile at the same time.

DEBBIE


A teacher, grandmother and rider. I have a house full of parrots, a bouvier named Wilbur, a husband named Erik and stacks of marking. I have had several family members affected by breast cancer, and several friends. Some day we will beat this disease.

ANDREA


Andrea has been riding since 2004. Originally from Colombia, she moved to Canada in December of 2000.  Andrea is married to Brad and is the mother of a beautiful little boy. Brad gave her the riding lessons as a birthday present hoping she would “fall out of it” … well he was wrong! Now she is proud to belong to a group of women who share a passion for riding and who want to contribute to find a cure. Andrea’s sister-in-law is a cancer survivor and she has a good friend who was affected by the disease too.

ELLEN


Ellen has been riding since she bought her husband a new motorcycle and started to wonder why he got all the expensive toys. She teaches at SAIT in the paramedic program and still works occasionally on the ambulance in Calgary. She has 2 Mollucan cockatoos and a husband named Eric. She has a passion for yoga and being in the present moment.
